The Omega 4000 Stainless-Steel juicer is a continuous ejection juicer sporting a 250 watt motor. Although the juicer has a predominantly white colour, it has some other parts which are made of polished stainless steel. It has a spacious pulp collector which is a pointer to the fact that this juicer is suited for continuous juicing.
Be it fruits or vegetables, the Omega 4000 juicer is well-equipped to deal with any produce of any size or thickness. It has a top-notch surgical stainless steel blade with which it effectively pulverises any ingredients placed in it. The slow, pulverizing action of the stainless steel blades of the juicer plays a big role in the extraction process.
The large size of the juicer’s feed chute is also proof that this juicer was designed with the user who is a frequent and heavy juicer in mind such that large batches of juice can be made with this equipment within a short time frame. When this appliance is in use, the resulting pulp is continuously ejected into the pulp container that is situated behind the unit.
The compact nature of the product unit makes it capable of operating within small surface areas on the counter top or table. Having owned a centrifugal juicer previously, I make bold to say that the Omega 4000 juicer is pretty much neck and neck with the best of centrifugal juicers and at the same time, it performs better than many other brands of pulp ejection juicers.
It is a rarity to come across a product with a long term warranty in today’s gadget-laden diet industry, which makes it all the more surprising to discover that this product has a 15 year warranty. This warranty period is definitely one of the longest you will ever come across in the industry. The duration of the warranty period is one of the major reasons why I made the buying decision to own this gadget; besides the rave reviews of course.
I find this juicer to be a dependable kitchen appliance that is very user-friendly. I say it is dependable because, so far, it has been able to juice all the apples, celery, carrots and tomatoes that I have attempted to juice with it.
However, it appears that leafy vegetables are a bit problematic for this juicer seeing that it wasn’t able to extract much from them. This fact is not uncommon among centrifugal juicers as majority of them have this same issue. The only way I was able to get it to juice my leafy greens was to bunch the leaves together and shove them into the feed chute with the plunger after having folded them in a neat bundle.
Having said that, this is not in any way a deal breaker for me as the product over-delivers on many other fronts. Some other users have reportedly had success in juicing leafy vegetables by blending the veggies with some water in a blender and subsequently transferring this mixture into the Omega 4000 juicer for further juicing.
The bowl of the juicer is also made from stainless steel and the exterior parts of this bowl has a reflective feel to it. A sandblasted finish is used for the interior portions of the bowl and this makes it easier to wash after every juicing operation.
It is designed in such a manner that there will be negligible pulp build-up in the ejection chute, which is common with many low end juicing machines. Some of them get clogged after making as little as a single glass of juice. This is not so with the Omega 4000 stainless steel juicer.
